From May 19-21, 2019 Image Access will exhibit in booth 1537 at the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting and Museum Expo in New Orleans, presenting the large format fine art scanner WideTEK® 36ART, the WideTEK® 25 large format color flatbed scanner and the Bookeye® 4 V2 overhead book scanners.
The American Alliance of Museums (AAM), represents more than 35,000 professionals and volunteers, institutions, and corporate partners in the sector. AAMs Annual Meeting and Museum Expo offers museum professionals more than 160 interactive sessions, on topics ranging from collections management and curatorial practice, to education and audience research; from exhibit planning and design to marketing and community engagement.

On May 15 and 16, 2019, it`s off to London for the 2019 Museums & Heritage Show at Olympia London. The Museums & Heritage Show is the largest exhibition for the museums and cultural sector in the UK. Over 2,000 Museum professionals from the UK and Europe attend the show to source new products and services for their Museum, Gallery or Attractions. May 07 - 10, 2019Book and Art Scanners at ELAG in Berlin
From May 7 - 10, 2019, the 2019 ELAG Conference will take place in the Staatsbibiliotek (State Library of Berlin) in Berlin, Germany. ELAG is Europes leading conference on the use of information technology in libraries and documentation centers. For over thirty years, the ELAG (European Library Automation Group) conference has offered library and IT professionals the opportunity to discuss new technologies and developments and share best practices. Accompanying the conference, there will be an exhibition featuring companies specialized in library automation technologies, presenting their latest developments and projects.
Image Access, the Wuppertal-based manufacturer of large format scanners, will exhibit in the Foyer for the first time, with its partner ImageWare Components. Attendees can experience the fine art scanner WideTEK 36ART, producing high quality 3D textured color replicas or originals. ImageWare Components presents software solutions and uses the book scanner Bookeye 4 V2 Semiautomatic.
The WideTEK 36ART enables contact free scanning of paintings, watercolors, charcoal and pastel drawings, mixed media collages and antique works of art; protecting them from any damage. The Bookeye 4 V2 Semiautomatic book scanner, with its unique self-adjusting, V-shaped book cradle and motorized glass plate, is suitable for digitization projects that require high quality.
April 17 - 18, 2019A-Vision Imaging BV at Museum Vakdagen 2019 in Eindhoven
The Museum Vakdagen (Museum Trade Days) 2019 will be held again this year in the Evoluon Congress Center in Eindhoven. Originally a science museum, the distinctive retro-futuristic design by Louis Kalff and Leo de Bever, is now a sleek, modern conference center.
This fourth edition of the Museum Vakdagen focuses on more than 2000 museums in The Netherlands and Belgium; from the largest professional museums to the smallest private museum, approximately 25.000 people in the museum branch can be reached.
Together with our partner A-Vision Imaging BV in The Netherlands, Image Access will exhibit and demonstrate the WideTEK® 36ART, the latest large format scanner designed specifically to scan fine art, to Museum Vakdagen visitors.
