Scan2Net® Software
Walk-up Scanning to USB Stick
- Save scanned images directly
to a USB memory device
- Use of the scanner without a client PC
- Scanner operation via touch screen
- Flexibility using mobile storage media
Walk-up scanning is an important feature of all WideTEK scanners which have a touch screen. The operator can send scanned images from the scanner to a specific destination such as a network printer or any directory in the network. Or the user saves data on a USB stick inserted in the scanner.
WideTEK scanners are outfitted with a USB port to connect with an external storage medium (USB stick or USB drive). Using the software option Scan2USB the operator saves scanned images directly to the USB storage medium.
No client PC is required - the user operates the scanner via the integrated touch screen.
Scan2USB: Flexibility Using Mobile Storage Media
Operation is quick and easy: Insert a USB stick into the scanner, put the document in the scanner and press the button “Scan -> USB” on the touch screen. In a few seconds, the scan is completed and stored on the USB stick.
Thanks to Scan2USB, the user is more flexible in data handling and can save the scanned images directly to mobile storage devices.
The software option Scan2USB enhances and complements the Scan2Net® functionality. The software for the option is available for purchase and for download online in the Image Access Customer Service Portal.
